My letter to Granddad
Vant's letter to Granddad
My letter and drawing to Granddad:
Thank you or being a part of my life and raising me up.
Thank you for making me milk to drink in a milk bottle when I'm already a high school student,
massaging my legs,
cooking instant noodles for me when I can just cook it myself.
I'm sorry for being disrespectful in the past. You did all these for me without complaining despite my bad manners as a child. You will always be remembered lolo. I'll miss you forever.
Rest in peace and enjoy yourself in heaven with lola. Bless us all from heaven, especially my mother, your only daughter. Take good care lolo!
Safe In His Arm, Now & Forever
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.
David's letter to Granddad:
Hi lolo,
Time files. In a blink of an eye, we're all grown ups already, who could take care of ourselves as compared to the past. Though we weren't at your side when you passed away, your presence, teachings and image will always be embedded in our hearts. The memories we've created, as a family, will always be cherished. No matter how far you're from us, we'll always remember you. Thank you for everything.
Love,
Keong.
Vant's letter and drawing to Granddad:
Thank you for raising me up. Now that you're gone, all I have are the memories we created together. On the bright side, you join granny already! Please watch over us from above! We miss you! Rocky too :)
God bless
David wrote a script for someone in our family to read during the burial day but no one managed to read it as we're all crying. (lolo means granddad, tatay means father)
Here's the script:
It is unfortunate that tatay has passed away on the 17 of June.
Indeed it is something unexpected but I guess at times, one might never know when they will go. I strongly believe that tatay had stepped into most or all of our lives, making an impact no matter how small or big.
Not to mention, he taught us many things in life. He also has a remarkable attitude and personalities, something extraordinary these days. He has also been an awesome grandfather and father. We are thankful for what he had done for us. Whatever he had taught us, we will always remember. No matter how far he is from us, his presence will invariably be embedded in us.
Most importantly, it has been a great journey with him.

CCB READING DAVID'S LETTERS MAKE ME TEAR UP AGAIN.
